The instructions of the Lord are perfect, reviving the soul

The decrees of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple

The commandments of the lord are right, bringing joy to the heart

The commands of the lord are clear, giving insight for living

Reverence for the Lord is pure, lasting forever

The laws of the Lord are true, each one is fair

They are more desirable than gold even the finest gold

They are sweeter than honey, even honey dripping from the comb

They are a warning to your servant, a great reward for those who obey them

HEART OF THE FATHER 3

God desires communion, he longs for fellowship with his children not just a list of requests and complaints. He wants those that will long after him as the deer pants for the water brooks. He's more than able to supply all our needs, in fact he's even aware of them before they arise, enough of his presents, seek his presence.Let this be the priority of your life-seeking God. The father desires those that will be with him, he's not interested in what we do for him as much as being with him. Our unending activities has shifted our gaze off the master, the one we are claiming to serve is saying that my desire is that you be with me, don't be in a hurry to do something for me. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye except ye abide in me {John 15:4}.

Don't be casual about your life so that you will not become a casualty 

MORE THAN CONQUERORS

Many a burden have carried,
weighed down with troubles and cares,
wondering whether their cries are heard,
maybe just one person will see what they are going through
There is one who sees the deepest cries of hearts,
a care unshared,
a burden that cannot be described.
He sees every of your tears
He's saying:
Do not be dismayed
I am there with you.
The one that calms all storms says: 
Every battle is settled
'cos your victory is already guaranteed
You are more than conquerors

LOVE FROM A PURE HEART

There have been times I have laid on my bed with a lot of things running through my mind so I decided to put them down in writing. One of these days happened to be a Christmas morning. I asked myself some questions, God gave us Jesus because of His love for us, that's right you will say, John 3:16 told us that. I kept pondering on that love and giving and it dawned on me to just ask myself this question- How much have i given to God and others out of love? For the first part of the question , i could still mention a few but i had to think deeply before i could actually give an answer on whether it was born out of love or not, 1 Cor 13 tells us God's stand about it, verse 3 says even if i dole out all that i have to the poor in providing  food, and if i surrender my body to be burned or in order that i may glory, but have not love (God's love in me), i gain nothing{AMP}. This made me realize that the motive behind everything we do matters a lot to God and he wants it to be from this standpoint- LOVE. One of my favorite writers once wrote, "O lord, deal with the passion of my heart , let it be for you and you alone. let my zeal to seek you not erupt from a desire to satisfy the longing of the carnal heart. it is too costly to take such long trip only for the meat that perishes." we have to get to that point in our lives and take the decision that in everything we say, think or desire, we want it to be born out of love which is from a pure heart.let this be our watchword.

MY ALL IN ALL

There's a music in my heart for the King of kings
